About this site

Presta Product Passport is an independent reference on the EU Digital Product Passport, written for people who run PrestaShop stores and now have to work out what a regulation written for manufacturers means for them.

Why it exists

There is a lot of DPP material aimed at manufacturers and enterprise compliance teams, and very little aimed at the person running a mid-sized catalogue on PrestaShop who wants to know two things: does this apply to me, and where do I put the data. That gap is what this site fills.

How it is maintained

Every page carries a last-reviewed date, and dated claims link to a primary source. When a delegated act is adopted, the relevant product group page is revised and the review date moves. Where something is genuinely uncertain, it is labelled uncertain rather than smoothed over — an honest "not yet decided" is more useful than a confident guess.

What it is not

It is not legal advice. Compliance obligations depend on your specific products, your role in the supply chain and the member states you sell into. For anything with real exposure, the binding text is the Official Journal and the right advisor is a qualified one.

It is also not affiliated with the European Commission or with PrestaShop SA.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, it should be fixed rather than argued about. Corrections that cite a primary source are especially welcome.
